Embark on an exciting full-day adventure from Accra into Ghana's beautiful Volta Region, combining wildlife, mountain hiking, rainforest scenery, waterfalls and local culture.

Your adventure begins at Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, a community-based conservation area known for its Mona monkeys. Explore the sanctuary with your guide and learn about the monkeys, their environment and the conservation efforts that protect them.

From Tafi Atome, continue to Mount Afadjato, one of Ghana's most prominent mountain destinations. Prepare for a rewarding hike through the natural landscape toward the summit. The climb offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and lush Volta Region countryside.

The adventure continues to Wli Waterfall, where you will walk through a tropical forest environment toward the spectacular waterfall. At the base, enjoy the refreshing atmosphere created by the falling water and surrounding vegetation. Depending on conditions, time and individual fitness, guests may relax around the natural pool or undertake an extended hike toward the upper section.

💦 STOP 3 — WLI WATERFALL

Continue to Wli Waterfall, one of the most spectacular waterfall destinations in Ghana.

Begin the walk through the lush tropical surroundings toward the waterfall.

🌿 Forest Walk

Enjoy the natural scenery along the trail and listen to the sounds of the forest as you approach the waterfall.

💦 Wli Waterfall Experience

Arrive at the base of the waterfall and experience the impressive cascade and refreshing mist.

Guests can:

🥾 Optional Extended Hike

Guests who are physically prepared and where time and conditions permit may undertake an extended hike toward the upper waterfall.

The upper waterfall hike is more physically demanding and is subject to weather, trail and safety conditions.

🌅 AFTERNOON/EVENING — RETURN TO ACCRA

After completing the Wli Waterfall experience, gather with the group and begin the journey back to Accra.
