📝 TOUR DESCRIPTION

Embark on a memorable full-day journey from Accra to Ghana's Western Region, combining culture, history, nature and beach relaxation in one experience.

Your adventure begins with pickup at the Tourist Hotel in Accra, followed by a comfortable drive through the Western Region toward Agona and Beyin.

The first major experience is Nzulezu, one of Ghana's most fascinating traditional communities. Located on Lake Tadane, Nzulezu is a village built on stilts over the water. Access to the community is by canoe, making the journey itself part of the adventure.

With your professional guide, learn about the history, traditions and unique lifestyle of the Nzulezu people and discover how generations of residents have adapted their lives to their remarkable water environment.

The journey then continues to Fort Antonio in Axim, a historic Portuguese fort dating back to the 16th century. Explore the site and learn about its historical significance, including its connection to the European presence and the transatlantic slave trade along Ghana's coast. The fort also provides impressive views toward the Atlantic Ocean.

After the cultural and historical visits, continue to Maaha Beach Resort, where you can slow down and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. 06:00 AM – Pickup at Tourist Hotel, Accra

Meet your tour team at the designated pickup point at the Tourist Hotel in Accra.

Board the air-conditioned bus and receive bottled water before beginning the journey toward Ghana's Western Region.

06:30 AM – Depart Accra

Begin the journey toward Agona and Beyin.

Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel from Accra toward the coast and western part of Ghana.

Morning – Journey to Beyin / Nzulezu

Continue through Agona toward Beyin.

Your guide will provide information about the communities, landscape and destination along the route where appropriate.
