Your journey begins in Accra, Ghana's energetic capital, where you will experience the city's unique blend of modern development, history and culture. From Accra, travel along Ghana's historic coastline toward Cape Coast and Elmina.

In the Central Region, explore some of Ghana's most important heritage sites, including Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle. Learn about the history of European trade on the Gold Coast and the profound history associated with the transatlantic slave trade.

The journey also takes you into the rainforest environment of Kakum National Park, where you can experience Ghana's tropical forest and, where available, the famous canopy walkway.

Your adventure then continues westward to Nzulezu, a remarkable community located on Lake Tadane. Travel by canoe across the lake and discover a traditional community whose homes and way of life are closely connected to the water.
