Embark on a three-day journey from Accra into the heart of Northern Ghana, where wildlife, culture, traditional craftsmanship and contemporary African art come together.
Your adventure takes you to Mole National Park, Ghana's renowned wildlife destination and home to large populations of elephants, antelopes, warthogs, baboons, monkeys and numerous bird species.
One of the major highlights is a sunrise Jeep safari, giving you the opportunity to experience the savannah as the landscape comes alive. Wildlife sightings depend on natural conditions and animal movement and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
Beyond the wildlife experience, discover Northern Ghana's rich cultural heritage at the historic Larabanga Mosque, explore community life at Mognori Eco-Village, and experience a canoe safari through the surrounding waterways.
The journey continues into Tamale, where you'll explore contemporary African creativity at Red Clay Studio and the Savannah Centre for Contemporary Art.
You will also experience everyday life in Tamale through a visit to the city's busy market, where traders and communities from across Northern Ghana and neighboring areas come together.
The tour concludes with an immersive visit to a Northern Ghana leather workshop. Learn how raw hides are processed and transformed into finished products such as sandals, shoes, belts, wallets and bags. Where available, guests can participate in a hands-on leather-making experience.
